Anything from magazines, different people, and even myself.
What is your favorite thing about your closet?
How it is clean (now). I can easily find what I need. And also how it does not contain all of my clothes, only my main pieces, this way I can build an outfit quickly if I had to.Is it arranged in a certain way?
Yep! On the left side of my jeans are all of my dresses, followed by scarves. On the right side are all my shirts, then sweaters, then blazers/outerwear. On the floor are my shoes.What are your staple pieces?
I would say for this winter is a knit scarf. It could be paired with almost everything and it would create a fun twist; during other seasons, probably jeans and a blazer. Oh and can’t forget about those laced boots. 🙂
Do you have a go-to/favorite outfit? (maybe one that you can wear anywhere?)
If I wake up late or can’t think of anything to wear, I generally go for a pair of dark wash skinny jeans, a tank top, cardigan, and a big scarf. I also usually go for a pair of boots to finish it off. It looks polished yet casual, and no one can tell that I put in almost no effort.
What is the one piece of clothing that everyone must have?
Besides the basics (T-shirt, tanks, etc), I would say probably a cardigan in a color that matches everything. Like a one kind fits all kind of deal.
Favorite places to shop? (can be online as well)
Must go with Forever21, even though it takes a bit of work to find pieces I would buy.
Do you follow trends/how do you keep up with them?
I like trends and looking at them, but I don’t really participate in every single one. It has to work with my body for me to invest on certain pieces.
What is your fashion obsession? (shoes/shirts/jewelry/etc.) and how many do you have of it?
It is not shoes currently (it is now sweaters and knit scarves), but if you look in my closet you will see almost 20 pairs of shoes…
If you could swap closets with anyone, whose would it be/why?
DulceCandy87 on YouTube, her blog http://dulcecandy.com/ basically explains why. But she has a variety of clothes and a very, very extensive collection of everything
How do you decide on your outfits/what to wear in the morning?
I usually (If I have time) think about it before I go to sleep. If I wake up and try the outfit on and it doesn’t work out I go to emergency mode (which is trying things on together really fast). I almost all the time find something but if I don’t I go to my ‘go-to’ outfit.
Recently bought item you’re really excited about:
A green sweater with black stripes. It is my first ever green shirt.
Least favorite trend?
Sequined UGG boots and wide legged pants/jeans. These are my own opinion. Please don’t be offended!… 🙂
Are there any outfits you regret wearing?
Yes. Many when I was a freshman and sophomore. I remember I wore a loose black shirt, jeans, and cowboy styled boots. Back then I thought it looked really good. I’m not quite sure why…
